Regent FE is an Authorised Payment Institution (API) working to reshape global transactional banking across the UK, Europe and beyond. We specialise in international payments, collections, and FX risk management for a diverse range of corporate clients. Our mission is to build a seamless and secure financial infrastructure supported by a committed and collaborative team. 

We are looking to hire a Payments and Onboarding Analyst to support our growing operations team. This role leans primarily into operational support initially, with onboarding responsibilities increasing over time as training and development progress. 

Key Responsibilities

Operations Support 

  • Assist with the day-to-day processing of domestic and international payments (FPS, SEPA, SWIFT, CHAPS) 
  • Help maintain accurate and timely transaction records and reconciliation activities 
  • Monitor inbound and outbound funds and update internal records accordingly 
  • Respond to operational customer and supplier queries and escalate where necessary 

Onboarding Support (progressively increasing over time) 

  • Support initial client onboarding processes and documentation intake 
  • Assist with KYC reviews and gathering of AML-relevant materials under supervision 
  • Input client data into CRM and onboarding systems, ensuring completeness and accuracy 
  • Liaise with clients during onboarding to support information collection and provide updates 

Process Improvements & Projects 

  • Contribute to internal operations documentation
  • Participate in periodic reviews of operational and onboarding processes 
  • Support ad hoc projects and testing initiatives 

Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience in financial services (payments, operations, onboarding, or customer service) 
  • Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to tasks 
  • Comfortable working with internal systems, databases, and Excel 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset and ability to manage competing deadlines 
  • Experience with reconciliation, client onboarding or KYC/AML processes (desirable) 
  • Understanding of operational risk and regulatory expectations (desirable) 
  • Exposure to FX, financial institutions, or fintech environments is a bonus
